Bioderma's Créaline AR+ Bl-serum is primarily intended for skin prone to redness, sensitivity, and reactivity. My analysis of the formulation reveals a clear desire on the part of the brand to target inflammation, vascular fragility, and dehydration, three major factors in the appearance of redness. This product is part of a rigorous dermo-cosmetic approach, suitable for intolerant skin or skin showing signs of early rosacea.
Formula Analysis: Key Assets
Three active ingredients stand out in this formula. The Bakuchiol, known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, acts as a gentle cell regulator, ideal for sensitive skin. The Dipotassium glycyrrhizate, an extract of licorice, has a proven soothing and anti-redness effect by limiting the release of inflammatory mediators. Finally, Vitamin E (Tocopherol) complements the antioxidant action, protecting the skin from oxidative stress and strengthening the skin barrier. The combination of these active ingredients justifies the quality of the product, providing a comprehensive response to skin sensitivity and reactivity.
Tips and Application Ritual
I recommend applying this serum in the morning and/or evening, on clean skin, before moisturizer. It is compatible with simple moisturizers, but it is best to avoid combining it with powerful exfoliating active ingredients (AHA/BHA acids) or retinoids, so as not to aggravate sensitivity. It can be used in addition to sunscreen for optimal protection.
My Final Verdict & Safety Opinion
This serum stands out for its tolerance, fragrance-free formula, and light texture, which is perfectly suited to reactive skin. Its soothing and anti-redness properties are enhanced by a selection of effective active ingredients. The only possible downside is that the texture may not be sufficient for very dry skin, which may require additional care. My medical opinion: an excellent option for soothing and protecting skin prone to redness.

Good serum
It's a really good serum for soothing, moisturizing and nourishing the skin. Unfortunately it's quite expensive and runs out quickly, I tend to always use at least one layer of serum morning and night, this one only lasted me a month for almost 40€.
