These two physical filters act by reflecting and diffusing UV rays, offering broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection without skin penetration, making them particularly suitable for skin that is sensitive, reactive or intolerant to chemical filters. The emollient base combines light lipid esters - oleyl decylate, dicaprylyl carbonate, caprylic/capric triglycerides - to ensure fluid application and a non-occlusive feel. Cocoglycerides and hydrogenated palm glycerides citrate contribute to film cohesion and skin tolerance. Tocopheryl acetate and tocopherol (vitamin E in two forms) provide antioxidant activity, limiting oxidative stress induced by sun exposure. Silica dimethyl silylate improves the texture and resistance of the filtering film.
