Glycerine and panthenol (provitamin B5) act as moisturizing and soothing agents: glycerine draws water into the superficial layers of the epidermis, while panthenol helps repair the cutaneous barrier. Oat extracts and flours (*Avena sativa*) provide emollient and anti-pruritic properties, particularly useful in cases of itching or irritation.
