Its main active ingredient, salicylic acid** (BHA), works by keratolysis: it dissolves the bonds between corneocytes to unclog pores and refine skin texture, while exerting a mild seborestatic action. Acetyl glucosamine**, derived from glucosamine, contributes to gentle exfoliation and supports skin hyaluronic acid synthesis. Witch hazel water** (*Hamamelis virginiana*) provides astringent and antioxidant properties. The formula also incorporates moisturizing and film-forming agents - **sodium hyaluronate**, **glycerine**, **trehalose** and **biosaccharide gum-1** - to offset the potential drying effect of exfoliation. Caffeine** completes the picture with its vasoconstrictive and antioxidant action. Capryloyl glycine** reinforces the purifying action with its mild sebum-regulating and antimicrobial properties. This product is suitable for dry skin requiring regular, controlled exfoliation, but unable to tolerate the more aggressive, alcoholic formulas of the higher-concentration versions in the range.
