Its action is based primarily on two keratolytic active ingredients: salicylic acid (BHA), which penetrates pores to dissolve excess sebum and unclog blackheads, and capryloylsalicylic acid (LHA), a more lipophilic derivative of salicylic acid with a gentler, more targeted exfoliating action. Perlite and silica provide complementary mechanical exfoliation, helping to eliminate dead surface cells. Zinc gluconate helps regulate sebum production and has mild soothing and antibacterial properties, while copper PCA supports the regulation of the skin microbiome. Bilberry extract (Vaccinium myrtillus) provides polyphenolic antioxidants. Menthol provides an immediate sensation of freshness. The emulsifying base contains sodium laureth sulfate and coco-betaine as cleansing surfactants. This product is suitable for young, combination to oily skin, prone to imperfections and blackheads, and should be used occasionally (1-2 times a week) to avoid irritation, particularly in the case of sensitized or reactive skin.
