CeraVe Hydrating Cream-to-Foam Cleanser is a cleanser with an original texture that transforms into foam on contact with water. Its cleansing base combines several gentle surfactants - sodium methyl cocoyl taurate, coco-betaine and sodium cocoyl isethionate - to ensure effective removal of impurities and sebum without destabilizing the hydrolipidic film. The ceramide complex (NP, AP, EOP), combined with cholesterol and phytosphingosine, supports the integrity of the skin barrier by reconstituting the intercellular lipids naturally present in the epidermis. Hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate) and hydroxyethyl urea provide surface hydration, while NMF (Natural Moisturizing Factor) is represented by several amino acids (glycine, serine, threonine, arginine, proline...), sodium PCA and sodium lactate, which help maintain intracellular hydration. Salicylic acid, present in low concentration, exerts a slight keratolytic action and helps unclog pores. This product is particularly suitable for normal to dry, sensitive or dehydrated skin, as well as for combination skin seeking a respectful cleansing. It is less suitable for very oily or acne-prone skin requiring a stronger cleansing action.

Very good
Gentle foaming cream that I use in the morning. Leaves my skin soft, fresh and moisturized. My face is purified and cleansed of excess sebum from the night and ready to receive my moisturizing serum.

I love it!

i had high hopes of curing my eczema on my face, which had been going on for over a year: on the contrary, there's been no improvement and burning sensations have been added. on the other hand, i tolerate it very well on my body, where i have no allergies for the time being.

Not for me
Creamy texture and very (too!) foaming, you really need to use very little otherwise it takes a long time to rinse off. Only tried it for a few days, but I'm realizing that cerave products tend to irritate my skin and cause it to tingle and heat up over the long term (I've been testing the brand for 5 months now). I'm going to finish using it as a shower gel and switch to a gentler cleanser with a simpler, safer formula for my sensitive skin.
