This shower gel from CicaBiafine is formulated around a gentle detergent base combining cocamidopropyl betaine, sodium lauroamphoacetate and coco-glucoside, plant-based surfactants with low irritant potential, suitable for sensitive and fragile skin. Glycerine and panthenol (provitamin B5) act as moisturizing and soothing agents: glycerine draws water into the superficial layers of the epidermis, while panthenol helps repair the cutaneous barrier. Oat extracts and flours (*Avena sativa*) provide emollient and anti-pruritic properties, particularly useful in cases of itching or irritation. Lecithin and glyceryl oleate help restore the skin's lipidic film, which is often damaged in atopic skin or after medical treatments. Tocopherol (vitamin E) and ascorbyl palmitate play an antioxidant role, limiting oxidative stress on the skin. This product is particularly suitable for dry, sensitive, atopic or healing skin, as well as for people whose skin barrier has been weakened by dermatological treatments or chronic pathologies.
