Toleriane Dermo-Nettoyant by La Roche-Posay is a no-rinse cleansing lotion formulated for sensitive and intolerant skin. Its aqueous base combined with **ethylhexyl palmitate** (an emollient ester of lipidic origin) dissolves and removes impurities and light make-up without altering the skin's hydrolipidic film. Glycerine** and dipropylene glycol** act as humectants, keeping the stratum corneum hydrated during cleansing. Carbomer** neutralized by sodium hydroxide gives the formula its light gel texture and stability. Preservation is ensured by a gentle system based on **ethylhexylglycerine** and **caprylyl glycol**, avoiding the use of parabens or classically irritating preservatives. The formula is fragrance-, colorant- and alcohol-free, making it particularly suitable for reactive skin, prone to redness or with a weakened cutaneous barrier. It is also suitable for atopic skin and can be used during periods of intolerance.

Non-aggressive and effective
I've been using this product for two weeks now, every evening and to remove make-up before rectification (mascara having run), I have sensitive, dry skin and I'm very happy with it. I apply it in small quantities, massaging it in, letting it sit and rinsing it off (it's not a necessity). It leaves a fine, soft film on the skin and doesn't sting the eyes.
Please note that the version I own does not have exactly the same composition. Mine seems simpler and contains fewer active ingredients (see photo).

I have been using this product for many years and it suits my skin type perfectly. It is gentle and I use it as the last step in my evening make-up removal routine.
