Glycolic acid, with its small molecule, effectively penetrates the superficial layers of the epidermis to dissolve the bonds between corneocytes and accelerate cell renewal. Lactic acid, with its larger molecule, acts more on the surface, while providing a moisturizing component through its action on natural moisturizing factors. The formula incorporates several complementary moisturizing agents: cross-linked sodium hyaluronate (sustained-release), panthenol (soothing, repairing provitamin B5), glycerin and xylitol. Opuntia ficus-indica (cactus) extract helps strengthen the skin barrier and limit potential acid-related irritation. Xylitylglucoside/Anhydroxylitol/Xylitol complex supports cellular hydration. This product is suitable for skin with irregular texture, dilated pores, dull complexion or slight hyperpigmentation. It is not recommended for very sensitive or reactive skin without gradual habituation, and requires the application of an SPF during the day.
