4 back-to-school beauty resolutions

Let's take advantage of the New Year to adopt some new beauty resolutions! There's no need to wait for the New Year to adopt the right gestures and implement little things that will (considerably) improve your complexion! We tell you all about it in this article.

Apply sunscreen every morning

Have you been slathering on sunscreen all summer long? Good for you! But just because it's back-to-school and autumn doesn't mean you have to forget that habit. In the morning, after your day cream, it's mandatory sun protection! SPF 50+++! Do you think it makes your skin marques white, greasy or uncomfortable? Then you haven't tried the right one yet! There are now highly protective SPF 50 sun creams that are totally imperceptible and leave your skin looking flawless. Still need an argument? 90 % of skin ageing is due to UV rays. In short, applying a sun cream even in the city, even on a grey day, is the best way to ensure beautiful aging and delay the appearance of wrinkles and spots!

My sun cream recommendation  :

This one will make everyone agree, I guarantee it. Light skin, dark skin, black skin, no white cast! A texture that penetrates super-fast, a light, pleasant scent and a big bonus: it doesn't sting the eyes! Personally, I have sensitive eyes and some sun creams make me cry all day long. I'm talking about Benton Air Fit UV Defense Sun Cream SPF50+. To try it is to adopt it.

Use a moisturizing cream morning AND night

Do you think that day creams, night creams and other moisturizers are pure marketing products that reflect our over-consumption society? Perhaps, if you buy expensive or trendy products. But you should know that a moisturizing cream in the morning AND at night is essential. And why is that? Because if your skin isn't properly moisturized, it will try to do the job itself. And what will it do? Produce excess sebum, leading to clogged pores, blemishes, acne and shiny skin. Another plan is for your skin, which is hyper-dry, to try and protect itself as best it can, resulting in patches, redness and, in the worst case scenario, scaling.

Moisturizing your skin regularly means nourishing it. It regains its suppleness, elasticity and radiance, and believe me: a simple moisturizing cream applied every morning and evening is better than all the most expensive cosmetics in the world.

My moisturizer recommendation

Pyunkang Yul Nutrition Cream. It provides rich, non-greasy hydration and nutrients for all skin types. It contains milk vetch root extract, well-known for its anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties. Coupled with shea butter and beeswax, this antioxidant helps restore skin elasticity. If you don't want to use several creams, this one can do the trick in the morning and evening!

Adopt double-cleaning

Party night, tired after the kids' dinner, movie starting on TV, whatever the excuse. In the evening, double cleansing is mandatory! The first cleanse with a cleansing oil or balm to dissolve all residues (impurities, make-up, sunscreen, etc.), massaging in for at least a minute before rinsing, then a cleansing gel to remove everything. You may feel a little lazy at first, but believe me, your skin will thank you in just a few weeks and you won't be able to do without it. Perfectly cleansed skin means fewer imperfections, a brighter complexion and, above all, skin that's ready to receive your skincare products. There's no point applying serums, lotions, creams or anything else to poorly cleansed skin - it won't have any effect.

Don't touch your acne

You've just come back from vacation and unfortunately you're experiencing the rebound effect after sun exposure ? Classic. Acne loves to reappear at the start of the school year or at the end of the vacations. Especially if you're prone to it. But don't panic. It's perfectly normal. We resist the temptation to touch our pimples, even if they're white. Believe me, it only makes things worse, with bacteria proliferating and creating new pimples. At worst, you'll get lots of new pimples; at best, you'll have to learn to live with a beautiful scar that will last for weeks. The solution? Patches! There are totally invisible, transparent patches that will protect your pimple and dry it out, while preventing you from touching it and avoiding any outside contamination. Just be patient and apply a patch to your pimple day and night. In just a few days, it'll be a thing of the past. If you have a lot of acne, don't hesitate to consult a dermatologist, who can prescribe antiobiotics or a suitable treatment. If you decide to hide your pimples with make-up, don't worry! Just make sure you clean the brushes or sponges you use to apply it, and double-clean to avoid clogging your pores and making the situation worse!

My patch recommendation :

SOME BY MI, Clear Spot Patch! It's a perfect little sachet to slip everywhere. They're sticky and transparent, so you can wear make-up over them with no problem.
