SOLAR CREAM! DON'T BE FOOLED!
Hello, dear BeautyDecoders!
Today we're going to look at how to choose a quality sunscreen. On today's market, you can find sunscreens that use filters dating back to the 70s, which are not stable and can cause allergies. On the other hand, there are sunscreens containing newer, more stable and less irritating filters. We're going to take a close look at ten sunscreens I usually recommend, as well as some new ones I've had a chance to try out!
We'll also see if the price of these sunscreens matches the quality of the filters used, while checking the claims marques make about their products. Because it's understandable if a cheap sunscreen uses older sunscreens, but if we buy a high-end sunscreen and they supply us with old sunscreens, that's not acceptable.

To be totally transparent with you, old sunscreens are not dangerous, but they do present a higher risk of skin reactions. From my point of view, the only sunscreen I wouldn't apply to my skin is oxybenzone, which is suspected of being an endocrine disruptor, and a recent study revealed that 7% of patients develop allergies on contact with it.
Of course, the choice of perfect sun cream depends on many other criteria, such as your skin type, your preferences in terms of texture (light or thick), finish (glossy or matte) and the ratio between oily and watery ingredients.
Relief sun rice and probiotic SPF 50 by Beauty OF Joseon
And now we're going straight to the sifting through these sun creams and I'm naturally starting with Relief sun rice and probiotic SPF 50 from Beauty OF Joseon. I love its creamy texture, which leaves the skin clear with a matte effect. It contains probiotics, rice extracts and Niacinamide. As for the sunscreens, they're relatively recent, with uvinul A plus dating from 2005, Uvinul T150 from 1997, Tinosorb M from 2000 and UVASORB from 1998. So no problem, we validate.
And if we look at the formulation in a little more detail, we see that the first ingredient is water, the second a rice extract, in third place dibutyl adipate which is a mixture of fatty acid and fatty alcohol often used as a solvent for sunscreens, then again a humectant, then we find the sunscreens and lots of plant extracts. In fact, when you look at the formula, it's easy to see why it's so well suited to normal, combination and oily skin. And above all, why it's particularly well tolerated by sensitive skin, since it's fragrance-free, alcohol-free and contains no sun filters dating back to the 1980s.

Corine de Farme Sensitive SPF50+ Protective Milk for Children
It has a very honorable composition! It contains 4 recent photostable sunscreens, UVENUL A PLUS, ENSULIZOLE, UVASORB and TINOSORB S. It's alcohol-free, fragrance-free and has a good ratio between aqueous and oily ingredients! Personally, this one's for me.

P20 for KIDS sun cream
How about the P20 now? This is a superb sun cream for people with normal to dry skin or when you go to the beach! But let's see what's under the hood! As you can see, this cream contains a lot of greasy ingredients at the beginning of the formula, which only confirms our feelings on use. As for the filters, there are 6 of them, 5 recent and one older. The recent filters include UVINUL A PLUS, UVINUL T150, TINOSORB S, TINOSORB M and TINOSORB A2B, which are all very good, and the older filter is OCTISALATE, so it's not the best filter, but it's not dangerous, so I approve of this cream.

I hope this analysis of sunscreens and filters has helped you choose a quality sunscreen that suits you! Take care and see you soon.
Excellent as always.
Thank you very much!
Are oxybenzone and avobenzone the same thing?
No, oxybenzone really is a bad sunscreen: Allergy and endocrine disruptor.
Avobenzone is present in half of all sunscreens, as it is the only genuine organic UVA filter authorized in the USA. But it can cause allergies and is highly unstable.
Yes, as Marjane wrote: excellent as always, nothing else to add.
Thank you!
