facial treatment 60

Facial care 60

In our sixties, collagen loss accelerates, aggravating skin slackening and the appearance of wrinkles. But a facial care and a balanced diet can help combat the signs of aging.

1) Apply Retinol, the essential anti-aging active ingredient, every other night

I can't recommend retinol enough: it's an anti-aging ingredient that helps reduce wrinkles and spots on the face. The problem with this vitamin A derivative is that it is very irritating.

Retinol oil serum

A rich serum containing 0.3% of the retinol but also peptides. This retinol-containing product is relatively well formulated, with real efficacy on fine lines and sagging skin. It contains no fragrance and smells like a cosmetic product. Above all, don't make the mistake of starting retinol every day, or you'll end up with an irritated face. Start gradually, every other day or every 3rd day. A truly well-designed anti-ageing cosmetic product.

A passioni retinol

A retinol cream ideal for mature skin! It helps improve the appearance of wrinkles and skin spots. It's a good anti-wrinkle cream at 60.

2) Use a copper peptide anti-wrinkle serum every other night

Copper peptide is highly effective in increasing collagen production, so it's an ingredient I can recommend for people in their sixties. Copper peptides are an integral part of our bodies, with natural healing and anti-inflammatory properties. What interests us most are the numerous scientific studies on their ability to increase collagen production in our dermis and thus improve skin firmness.

Copper Amino Isolate Serum

It is a serum anti-wrinkle which contains 2% of copper peptide, this serum has a rather liquid and blue texture which is given to it by the copper peptide. The firming effect is not immediate, of course, but the improvement in skin texture is much faster. Contains one of the world's finest anti-wrinkle cosmetic ingredients
Soothes and improves skin texture

3) Gentle cleansing to prevent skin dehydration

In our sixties, we want to avoid removing all the sebum and damaging our skin barrier with an overly aggressive cleanser.

4) Moisturize your skin, your anti-wrinkle weapon

Moisturizing the skin helps to slow the appearance of wrinkles, as dehydration causes fine dehydration lines that turn into permanent wrinkles over time.
But moisturizing the skin is not as easy as it sounds, as you need to proceed in stages, using two different products for optimal hydration.
A first humectant-rich cosmetic product will draw water into your epidermis, like a moisturizing lotion or serum, then a second emollient- and occlusive-rich product will seal water into your epidermis.
A moisturizing lotion I can recommend:

After applying this essence, apply a moisturizing cream.
The choice of this cream depends on your skin type: dry, normal to combination or oily. Find out more about my product recommendations for your skin type.

5) Apply anti-aging sun cream every day

Sunscreen is an essential part of your beauty routine. anti-aging care because UV rays are the main cause of skin ageing. At sixty, we want to limit the appearance of wrinkles, spots and loss of elasticity.

Skin care at age sixty should focus on 2 main areas:
- Moisturize with effective moisturizing and nourishing products
- Use of facial care products that increase collagen production

On the other hand, sun protection remains essential, because as we age, our natural defenses against the damage inflicted by UV rays diminish. A word of clarification: chronological age does not necessarily correspond to skin condition. At 60, you can have a 40-year-old skin or 80-year-old skin, depending on genetics, of course, but above all on the way it has been cared for.
