The benefits of niacinamide
Not familiar with niacinamide? Perhaps you simply call it something else. In fact, niacinamide is also called nicotinamide, but also (and above all) vitamin B3 or vitamin PP. This active compound is good for the skin:
Improves skin's barrier function and natural hydration
It gradually provides a smoothing and brightening effect
It helps the epidermis to better fight free radicals or oxidative stress...
Good to know: Niacinamide is recommended for combination to oily skin, but this molecule is suitable for all skin types. A facial containing niacinamide can therefore be used on sensitive or mature skin.

The benefits of zinc
A trace element renowned for its benefits to the body, zinc is also beneficial to skin cells:
It is involved in the synthesis of proteins (elastin, collagen) to restore firmness to skin tissue.
Helps regulate sebum production with enhanced purifying action
It reinforces the skin's natural defenses against external aggressions...
Good to know: Not all skin types are equal when it comes to zinc! While some appreciate its purifying and regenerating properties, others can't stand it. If this is the case, zinc will tend to increase skin problems and irritations, hence the importance of a skin test beforehand.

  1. Linda -

I discovered niacinamide thanks to this product. Simple but effective (hyperpigmentation, melasma, acne...), and well tolerated by my sensitive skin. I've switched to other niacinamide-based products, but this one is an interesting introduction, especially considering the price.

  2. catherine -

For several months now, I've been using this serum twice a week as part of my evening routine. I've noticed fewer imperfections on my forehead, the greasiest part of my face. I always use an Asian centella moisturizer afterwards to soothe my sensitive skin.

    well

  5. Caroline -

This product was my first purchase of niacinamide and it immediately gave me pimples. I think it's too high a dose. I passed it on to my teenager, who didn't get any rashes, but whose red post-acne rashes haven't really changed. Maybe he doesn't use enough (I think he uses 3 drops all over his face). Nothing revolutionary, then.

  6. Youyou -

I bought this product thanks to your recommendations.
Ideal for summer, as the skin produces less sebum with it, so it makes an excellent base.

  7. Kara -

I think it's too concentrated, given that studies have shown that 5% is more than enough. It irritated my skin, so I now opt for products containing it in lower concentrations. I don't recommend it for sensitive skin.
For the record, I have combination and sensitive skin.

  8. Loubna -
