This toner formulated with 77% of *Houttuynia cordata* (heartleaf) extract relies primarily on the anti-inflammatory and soothing properties of this plant, rich in quercetin and phenolic acids, which help reduce redness and calm reactive skin. Glycerine and betaine provide osmotic surface hydration, while panthenol (provitamin B5) supports skin barrier repair. The formula also incorporates several complementary botanical extracts: *Centella asiatica* for its healing and calming effects, *Portulaca oleracea* with its antioxidant and soothing properties, *Chamomilla recutita* for its anti-irritant flavonoids, and *Arctium lappa* for its sebum-regulating effects. Extracts of *Vitis vinifera* and *Pyrus malus* provide an antioxidant component. The texture is lightly jellified thanks to an acrylate polymer, for fluid application without heavy residue. This product is particularly suitable for sensitive skin prone to redness, imperfections or a weakened cutaneous barrier. It can be integrated into a routine for acne-prone skin or skin in a reactive phase.
