This foaming cleanser from CeraVe combines a gentle cleansing system - cocamidopropyl hydroxysultaine, sodium lauroyl sarcosinate and sodium methyl cocoyl taurate - that removes impurities and excess sebum without unbalancing the hydrolipidic film. The formula incorporates three ceramides (NP, AP, EOP), cholesterol and phytosphingosine, structural constituents of the skin barrier, which help maintain epidermal integrity during rinsing. Niacinamide (vitamin B3) acts to regulate sebum and strengthen the barrier, while sodium hyaluronate and glycerine ensure surface hydration. Propanediol and sodium lauroyl lactylate complete the moisturizing action and improve texture. This product is particularly suitable for normal to oily skin, including acne-prone skin, as well as sensitive skin requiring effective cleansing without a post-wash «tugging» effect.

my favorite face wash
it's just perfect! it doesn't dry out my skin! I use it as a second cleanser and it removes all the residue from my first oil-based cleanser.

not convinced
practical, hygienic pump-bottle packaging. pleasant cream texture to apply, with no heady odor that turns into foam when emulsified on the face. However, it stings the eyes a little. I find that it removes a little too much of my sensitive skin, so I prefer to use the other cleansing version of their brand by removing make-up twice. I won't be buying it again.

Effective but a little drying
This cleanser is very effective, fragrance-free and pleasant to use, but it's a little too abrasive for my combination and sensitive skin. I think it should be perfect for oily or very oily skin.

excellent for sensitive acne-prone skin
I use it as an evening cleanser and it's great!
it does not dry out the skin, no tightness after washing and it cleanses the skin very well from impurities that have accumulated during the day.
