Damask rose (*Rosa damascena*) floral water is the main vehicle, providing softening and slightly astringent properties. Glycerine and sodium PCA, both humectants, capture water in the superficial layers of the epidermis, while sodium hyaluronate reinforces this action by forming a moisturizing film on the cutaneous surface. Aloe barbadensis* extract contributes to skin soothing and comfort. The formula also incorporates several botanical extracts - green tea (*Camellia sinensis*), chamomile (*Chamomilla recutita*), rosehip (*Rosa canina*) and elderberry (*Sambucus nigra*) - recognized for their antioxidant and mild anti-inflammatory properties. Betaine plays a complementary osmotic role, supporting cellular hydration. Montmorillonite, a mineral clay, may contribute to a light purifying action.
