The formula includes niacinamide, which regulates sebum production and evens out skin tone, and ectoin, a microbial osmoprotectant that strengthens the skin barrier against environmental stress. Adenosine contributes to the smoothing effect, while tocopherol (vitamin E) provides additional antioxidant activity. The aqueous base combined with coco-caprylate/caprate and caprylyl methicone gives a light, non-greasy, quick-drying texture.
