CeraVe Acne Control Cleanser is a cleanser formulated for acne-prone skin, combining keratolytic, sebo-regulating and barrier-repairing active ingredients. Salicylic acid (BHA) penetrates pores to dissolve sebaceous plugs and reduce blackheads, while gluconolactone (PHA) exfoliates the surface with greater skin tolerance than conventional AHAs, making it suitable for sensitive skin. Niacinamide helps regulate sebum, reduce post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and strengthen the epidermal barrier. The ceramide (NP, AP, EOP), cholesterol and phytosphingosine complex replenishes intercorneocyte lipids, limiting the dehydration often associated with anti-acne treatments. Hydrolyzed hyaluronate provides surface hydration. Mild surfactants (sodium lauroyl sarcosinate, cocamidopropyl hydroxysultaine, sodium methyl cocoyl taurate) ensure effective cleansing without unbalancing the hydrolipidic film. This product is suitable for oily to combination skin with blemishes, blackheads or mild to moderate acne, including skin sensitized by other topical treatments.
