Nivea Derma Skin Clear Night Exfoliator** is a night-time exfoliating lotion formulated around a combination of complementary-action acids. Glycolic acid** (AHA) dissolves the intercellular bonds of the stratum corneum, promoting cell renewal and radiance. Salicylic acid** (BHA, fat-soluble) penetrates pores to dislodge impurities and regulate excess sebum, making it a particularly relevant active ingredient for acne-prone skin. Gluconolactone** (PHA) completes this exfoliating trio with a gentler action suited to sensitive skin, while providing antioxidant properties. Niacinamide** helps even out skin tone, reduce the appearance of enlarged pores and strengthen the cutaneous barrier. Panthenol** and Glycyrrhiza inflata root extract** play a soothing, anti-inflammatory role, partly offsetting the potential irritation of acids. Glycerine** and tapioca starch** ensure hydration and a light texture. This product is ideal for combination to oily skin, prone to imperfections, blackheads or textural irregularities. Use in the evening only, avoiding combinations with other exfoliants. The presence of fragrance may be a limiting factor for highly reactive skin.

formidably effective
I used this cream every night for a week on an «incipient» pimple on my chin (the ones that make big bumps and are really painful, you know what I mean?). Without fiddling with it, but by conscientiously applying a dab of this cream, it totally disappeared without going through the «big red pimple» stage!
