Vichy's LIFTACTIV Collagen Specialist eye contour care is based on a combination of active ingredients targeting the main signs of ageing in the peri-ocular area. Hydroxypropyl Tetrahydropyrantriole (Pro-Xylane)** stimulates glycosaminoglycan synthesis in the dermis, contributing to skin densification. Biomimetic **peptides - Acetyl Tetrapeptide-9, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 - act synergistically to support collagen production and modulate the chronic low-grade inflammatory response involved in skin slackening. Caffeine** exerts a vasoconstrictive and draining action, useful for reducing vascular dark circles and puffiness. Ascorbyl glucoside**, a stable form of vitamin C, and **tocopheryl acetate** (vitamin E) provide antioxidant protection. Niacinamide** completes the formula with its anti-inflammatory properties and its role in evening out skin tone. Capryloyl salicylic acid** promotes light surface cell renewal. This skin care product is suitable for skin showing marked fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes, early to confirmed sagging, and moderate dark circles and puffiness. Smoothing
Quite complete eye contour (vit b3, vit c, caffeine, peptides). Pleasant, rounded applicator tip. Smooth, melting texture. Slight plastic odor (due to silicone?) but not disturbing. Effective enough to smooth out expression lines and crow's feet. Not enough decongestant effect against dark circles/puffiness though. Coupled with mineral 89 eyes from the same brand, I think it could make a pretty good combo.

the 89 eyes mineral is frankly not top-notch; I wouldn't recommend it; in fact, you can find consumer reviews on this site, and obviously everyone shares my opinion; just in case it helps.

In reply to Sophie Chloé. Merci bcp pour votre réponse. For the mineral 89 eyes I had heard that it should be used as a moisturizing serum and that it was very effective but only on the condition of «sealing» it with a cream or an eye contour over it (as is the case for any moisturizing serum for the face by the way) hence the idea of coupling it with the lift activ for example. I'll test it by doing so occasionally.

For long-term testing
I have a hard time deciding: its gel-cream texture breaks easily on the skin, but the product isn't very nourishing and doesn't smooth fine lines sufficiently, especially in winter. Plan a layering with a serum as a first step.
