Its formula combines several depigmenting and brightening active ingredients with complementary mechanisms: niacinamide** (vitamin B3) inhibits the transfer of melanosomes to keratinocytes, reducing superficial hyperpigmentation; **ascorbyl glucoside**, a stable form of vitamin C, acts as an antioxidant and slows melanin synthesis; phenylethyl resorcinol** inhibits tyrosinase, the key enzyme in melanogenesis; ferulic acid** boosts antioxidant effectiveness and helps protect against oxidative stress. Caffeine** exerts a vasoconstrictive and decongestant action, useful for vascular dark circles. Ginkgo biloba extract** provides antioxidant properties and promotes local microcirculation. Hydrolyzed rice proteins** help moisturize and smooth the surface. The formula also includes optical correction agents (CI 77891, mica, tin oxide) that visually neutralize dark circles upon application. This product is suitable for skin with pigmented, vascular or combination dark circles, including sensitive skin, thanks to the absence of fragrance and the usual tolerance of La Roche-Posay formulas.
