This protection is reinforced by ethylhexyl triazone, methylene bis-benzotriazolyl tetramethylbutylphenol (Tinosorb M) and bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine (Tinosorb S), two photostable filters that broaden and stabilize spectral coverage. Tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E) provides additional antioxidant activity. On the moisturizing front, the formula incorporates butylene glycol and propylene glycol as humectants, and polyglyceryl-3 methylglucose distearate and glyceryl stearate as mild emulsifiers. Tapioca starch and polymethylsilsesquioxane contribute to a silky, matte texture, limiting the shiny finish. The formula is buffered with triethanolamine and stabilized with xanthan gum and sodium carrageenan. This product is suitable for normal to combination skins looking for high index daily sun protection with a moderate moisturizing effect, without an overly occlusive finish.
