The formula also incorporates a dense peptide complex - palmitoyl tripeptide-1, palmitoyl tripeptide-38, palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7, palmitoyl dipeptide-5 and acetyl hexapeptide-8 - which acts to remodel the extracellular matrix and relax the muscular micro-contractions responsible for expression lines. The presence of ceramides (NP, AP, EOP), cholesterol, phytosphingosine and phospholipids reconstitutes the lipid barrier of peri-ocular skin, which is particularly thin and fragile. Dipeptide-2 and N-hydroxysuccinimide specifically target dark circles of vascular origin, promoting lymphatic drainage and hemosiderin degradation. Ubiquinone, superoxide dismutase and thioctic acid reinforce cellular antioxidant protection. This product is suitable for skin showing signs of early or established ageing around the eyes - wrinkles, loss of firmness, dark circles and puffiness - and can be integrated into a morning and evening routine, bearing in mind the presence of fragrance which is potentially irritating for highly reactive skin.
